Rodrick was educated in Africa, England, Australia and the USA while Christine schooled in Germany, Italy, Canada and the USA. The family has developed real estate products ranging from an Olympic Village with all sports entities, to owning and managing 5000 rental properties in Europe and they presently have portfolios upward of a hundred million dollars.

Armed with their own experience in other markets Rodrick and Christine concluded that it would be beneficial to build a substantial US Real Estate knowledge base along with a strong US database of customers and fellow investors and therefore have already invested heavily in several US-based real estate courses, seminars, conferences and licensing dating back to 2009 and continuing today. The education is offered through worldwide organizations providing specialized US real estate investor and management training. This education along with their own US investments has laid the groundwork for their concentrated efforts in America.

Rodrick’s father, Duncan, has owned his own construction companies employing in excess of 500 staff and has worked as a consultant from Africa to Australia and has built a very wide selection of real estate products ranging from bridges, schools, universities, airports, housing developments, low, middle and up-market single family homes along with the afore mentioned Olympic Village. He has decades of experience in the construction field and his involvement with Jacana Real Estate adds additional value.

David is an Asset Manager and Principal at Jacana Real Estate. He discovered his passion for real estate and renovations when he was in his early twenties. He is constantly researching new opportunities in the real estate market in the US and aspires to grow Jacana Worldwide.

Karma is originally from Palestine, found her way to the US through the Fulbright Scholarship. Obtained her MS in Marketing from the University of Tampa in 2018. Currently, she’s in charge of all the systems and processes in Jacana Real Estate. She’s also in charge of all the marketing and advertising for the company.

Matt is a husband and father of one, who enjoys spending time with his family. He was born and raised in Broken Arrow, OK but later moved to Atlanta, GA in his teen years. There he attended the University of Georgia and began working with Hilton Hotels in northern Atlanta. Matt started on the front desk in 2001 and worked his way up to General Manager during his 13 years of employment with Hilton. In 2015 he took some time off and visited his wife’s native hometown of Maesot, Thailand to learn the Thai custom. Upon his return to the states in 2016, he began working with Jacana Real Estate at The Island Cay Hotel in Clearwater, FL. Matt continues to enjoy short term rental with JRE.

Vanessa is a 10-year Property Manager veteran and has represented a wide array of high rise, student housing, tax credit, luxury & commercial properties.

Mikey has over 20 years in the construction field, the last 5+ have been in Property Management. He is a Certified Project Manager (PMP) and a Residential Constructor.
